  36.      In my continued hunt for cheap antenna parts, I have located 
  37. a cheap source of antenna insulators.
  38.  
  39.      At the swapmeets, you can buy black plastic egg type 
  40. insulators for about $1.25 each. At Menards farm and hardware 
  41. store (Wisconsin and Minnesota) you can buy one plastic egg 
  42. insulator for $0.085 (Yes, 8.5 cents). They seem to be identical 
  43. to the black plastic ones, except they are optic yellow, rather 
  44. than Ninja black. The plastic of both appears to be ABS.

  46.      For eighty-five cents, you get a baggy of 10 "Corner Post 
  47. Insulators". These are sold by "Red Snap'r (sic) Electric Fencing 
  48. Systems". They are made by North Central Plastic Incorporated, 
  49. Ellendale, Minnesota 56026. Part No. YTRC10.

  51.      I am still looking for a source of 14 AWG 7 strand bare 
  52. copper wire. Radio Shack carries it in 75 ft lengths. I am 
  53. looking for spools of 1,000 ft.

  67.    I intend to set up a new antenna for 20-10 m, and wonder if anybody can tell
  68. me abt the performance of a vertical dipole compared to some other 'famous' 
  69. verticals. How is this vertical dipole compared to a horisontal one ??
  70. I have very limited space and also want to use as light material as possible. 
  71. How about setting up an off-center fed vertical dipole, instead of this 
  72. center fed one ??

  87.    Have the antenna figured out but am still looking for a non
  88. destructive mount to attatch to the trunk lid of my Honda Accord (89). 
  89. Anyone care to shed some light on what works.
